TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Members of the club must comply with the rules set out below.

1.     The management reserve the right to reject membership or renewal options; or cancel memberships at any time.

2.     The management reserve the right to require any member, guest or person to leave the premises at any time.

3.     Memberships not renewed by the expiry date shall be deemed cancelled, however, memberships paid by direct debit will be renewed automatically.

4.     In the event of a failed direct debit payment, memberships shall be suspended or cancelled until outstanding balance is paid.

5.     Membership is not transferable from person to person.

6.     The management may withdraw use of all or part of the facilities for various purposes including maintenance. Compensation will not be given for any such closures.

7.     Use of the gym is reserved for members of the club after 6pm on Monday to Thursday. (peak hours )

8.     All members must produce their valid membership card on each occasion they wish to gain entry to the facilities.

9.     If any member wishes to terminate their membership before it will expire, no refund for time remaining will be made. All cancellations must be provided to the club in writing. A receipt of this will be issued when complete.

10.  The management reserve the right to restrict the number of persons using the club at any one time due to health & safety regulations. The management also reserve the right to amend the opening times of the club should they deem it necessary.

11.  The management reserve the right to utilise the facilities for special events, classes or other activities it may deem desirable.

12.  Any memberships for children under the age of 16 years must be attached to a senior membership, to act as guardian/ contact. This guardian must be over the age of 16 years.

13.  Members under the age of 16 years are not permitted to use the sauna, steam room or gym at any time.

14.  Children under 8 years must be accompanied by a supervisor over the age of 16 years when visiting the pool.

15.  One adult may only be responsible for two children under the age of 8 years in accordance with our admissions policy.

16.  Memberships may only be suspended for medical reasons supported by a valid medical certificate, for a maximum of 3 months per certificate, at the discretion of the management.

17.  Members or visitors cannot use the facilities under the influence of any alcohol or drugs. No smoking permitted in the building.

18.  Medical clearance should be sought for members with any medical conditions that may restrict their exertion levels prior to taking part in any exercise in the club.

19.  Any member ignoring advice to or not seeking medical advice, when instructed by Shoreline staff regarding a medical condition, may not hold the management responsible for any harm which may occur.

20.  Appropriate clothing and footwear should be worn when using the various facilities.

21.  Equipment should be returned to its correct location/position after use.

22.  Animals are not permitted in the club/building at any time, with the exception of assistance animals.

23.  The club accepts no liability for accident or injury caused by any persons whilst using the facilities. Nor does the club accept responsibility for loss or damage to goods or valuables belonging to any member or guest.

24.  Personal belongings may not be left in the lockers/locker rooms overnight. Items left behind/found will be donated to various charities or dumped periodically.

25.  The management reserves the right to amend, add or alter these conditions of membership and club rules as it sees fit, and members should observe any amended or additional conditions or rules so made.

26.  Any complaints concerning the club or dispute or difference about the interpretation of these conditions of membership and club rules, shall be referred to the management of the club. This decision shall be final and binding.

27.  The club’s opening times are 6.30am to 10pm on Monday through Thursday, until 9pm on Friday and 9am to 6pm on Saturday & Sunday. Bank Holiday opening hours are from 9am to 6pm.

28.  Off-Peak times are the following:

Monday to Friday: 6.30am-5pm and Sunday 2-6pm

Shoreline Leisure Greystones Off Peak Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 6.30am-6pm, Friday 6.30am-9pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am-6pm

  • Members must be 16 years old before becoming a member of Shoreline Leisure to use our gym facilities. We offer child membership for under 16’s that can be added onto any of our adult memberships. A member of our membership team can help chose the best membership to suit your needs.

    To join our gym users need to be 16 years +. If signing up to a student membership we do require a form of ID to process the membership to confirm over 16 years.

  • All classes are included in your membership. Our classes require pre-booking which members can do via our Shoreline app up to 48hrs in advance of a class.

    Fitness class access is only with your main shoreline site i.e if you sign up to Shoreline Greystones you only have access to Greystones fitness classes.

  • Yes, throughout your membership you can avail of fitness assessments with any our fully qualified fitness team.

  • Yes, use of our 25m swimming pool and learner pools are included in all memberships, please note that there are certain restricted hours for use such as when lessons are on. However, you can still avail of our sauna and steam room during these restricted hours also

  • Our family membership is 2 adults and 2 children (under 16 years). Under fours are free. If you have more then two siblings you can add on another child membership for:

    Yearly: €95.00

    Monthly €14.83

  • Recurring payments, also known as RCPs, are charged automatically to a customer's credit card or bank account at periodic intervals (monthly) when you choose to pay via RCP when joining. Once you have chosen your membership you enter your payment details for the first payment. These details are saved in a payment gateway for processing the subsequent payments securely. The payment is debited according to a predetermined billing schedule. This removes the need to manually type in the payment details for every payment cycle.

  • While we will be sad to see any member leave us we understand that certain circumstances occur and you may need to end your membership (hopefully short term) with us, we ask that members terminate their memberships at reception by signing a termination form.

    RCP Memberships: We require at least 72 hours notice which needs to be in person by signing a cancellation form or via email.

    Old Direct Debit memberships: A one month notice cancellation policy apply to all memberships on Direct Debit. It needs to be in person by signing a cancellation form or via email.

    Yearly: You are free to cancel your membership at any point with us, but as it is a yearly payment we will not be offering a refund/credit back. This can be done in person or via email.

  • Yes we have individual lockers in all the changing rooms. Our lockers take a (refundable) €1 coin. Gym bags are not allowed in the gym area.
